Quindi divido in biberon puliti e conservo in frigo.

Homemade rice milk

Being a full-time mom is a big commitment , but it is so motivating and rewarding that I don't mind all the hard work done!
Almost every day I make a batch of rice milk for my baby , since he was 5 months old.

Making it is very simple , despite appearing to be a long process.

I do it in a pressure cooker and use these doses :

1 part organic brown rice
12 parts of mineral water
(I use an espresso cup as a measuring cup )

On high heat until the whistle blows and then on the smaller burner  for 1 hour.
Then wrap it in a blanket for 5 hours.
Filter the liquid with the help of a sieve , pressing the rice with a spoon to drop to collect some of the creamy mush.
Then divide into clean bottles and I keep it in the fridge.

One can also use a mill, taking care to turn counterclockwise , in this case the white creamy part will
automatically mix with the liquid.
I must admit that my son didn't love rice milk at first, actually he very much hated it. .
After a few attempts , and some additions like rice malt or half oz of breast milk , the baby finally likes, simply mixed with breast milk .

P.S. The remaining rice can be used for making baby food!
